The Following Obituary is Beautifully Written by the Family of Mrs. Cagle:
Bonnie Jeane Cagle, age 77, of Addison passed away peacefully at her residence
on November 08, 2025. Her family will receive friends on November 11, 2025,
from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. The Funeral service will follow on November 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home with William McClellan officiating. Interment will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following service. Guestbook available at Nicholsfuneralhomes.com.
Mrs. Cagle was born March 18, 1948, in Mineola, New York to James and Gladys
"Patsy" (Patterson) Wolfert. She was preceded in death by her loving husband,
Robert Lee "Bobby" Cagle; her stillborn son, Ronald Lee Cagle; her parents; four
brothers, James John Wolfert, Richard Arthur Wolfert, Robert George Wolfert, and
Lawrence Joseph Wolfert, and stillborn grandchild Stephanie Lane Fricks.
Bonnie loved to cook for her family, watching Braves baseball, New York Giants football,
listening to Elvis's songs as well as feeding and watching the birds and wildlife
around her home. She adored every minute of spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie was a member of One Strong widows' group at Temple
Baptist Church where she enjoyed meetings and loved sharing time with her
friends there.
She is survived by her son, Robert Lee Cagle, III (Tracy); daughter, Cynthia Marie
Cowart (Stephen); brother, Roger Allen Wolfert; sister, Marilyn Joan Wipple; six
grandchildren, Matthew Lee Cagle, Andrew Elisha Cowart (Madison), Kassidy
Faith Davis (Wesley), Zachary John Fricks (Taylor), Robert McKinley Cagle, and
five great-grandchildren, Truett Lee Cagle, Gaines Reid Cagle, Stella Lane Fricks,
Arcadia Elliana Cowart, and Chandler Reece Davis.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Lee Cagle, Andrew Elisha Cowart, Zachary John
Fricks, Robert McKinley Cagle, Wesley Aaron Davis, Stephen Jon Cowart, and
Wade Feezell.
The family would like to express their special gratitude to the compassionate
neighbors in her community, her women's group at Temple Baptist Church, Wade
and Benita Feezell, Marty Cowart, and the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice.
