Bonnie Jean Evilsizer, 77 of Buckner, MO passed away on May 28, 2025. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 1pm to 2pm with services following at 2pm at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016.
Bonnie was born February 6, 1948 in Napoleon, MO to Alden and Wathena (Ireland) Smith. Bonnie completed the 11th grade at Fort Osage High School. Bonnie worked at the Leads GM Plant for 12 years. When she retired, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bonnie's hobbies were painting, sewing, and gardening.
Bonnie's mom introduced Bonnie and Walt in October of 1979. They began dating and was married in 1981. Bonnie is survived by her beloved husband, Walt Evilsizer of 44 years; sons, Richard (Joann) Freeman of Lincoln, MO, Bill Scott of Braymer, MO; daughter Jennifer (Gary) Brisbin of Buckner, MO; step son, Gary (Kris) Evilsizer of Wellington, MO; step daughter, Teri Heavener of Blue Springs, MO; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sister, Lisa (Audie) Murphy. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sherry Miller and Laura Wilcox; brother, Gary Smith.
