Bonnie Faughn Obituary

Bonnie Jean Faughn went to meet the Lord on October 25th 2025 in her hometown of Lake Havasu City, Arizona at the age of 67. Bonnie was a life-long resident of Lake Havasu, where she built a home with her husband of more than 30 years, John P. Faughn. Bonnie was a source of joy, faith, and love for her family and friends alike, always laughing and caring for those around her. She was well-known in Lake Havasu in her previous work role of Assistant Store Manager at K-Mart Department Store. She later worked as a Pharmacy Technician, where her caring for clients led to her pursuing a degree in Pharmacy. She was a devoted Christian who belonged to the Abundant Grace congregation.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert A. and Evelyn J. McKenzie, original Lake Havasu residents. She is survived by her children Tami J. Roberts and Timothy D. Poole, her husband John P. Faughn, siblings Debbie A. Waters, Robert W. McKenzie, and David L. McKenzie, stepchildren Robert and Paul Faughn, and a total of fourteen grandchildren. Her greatest joy in recent years was in her role as a "Nana". She loved to travel-including camping, hiking, and cruising.

Bonnie will be remembered in a Celebration of Life at 3pm on 21 February 2026, which will be held at the Abundant Grace Church, 3516 McCulloch Blvd N, Lake Havasu City AZ 86406.

Oh sweet Bonnie...this breaks my heart-BUT-I know you are happy and healthy with your mom, your dad and Jesus! You were and are a huge part of my life. You introduced me to the deaf world and ASL and I will continue to share your love of sign language with others for as long as I live. You inspired me to learn the language, become a teacher of the deaf and now an advocate for others. Your legacy will live on in me, and I am proud of that. I have so many lovely memories with you. You touched many people while here on Earth and I hope that you get to see the immense impact you have made on so many now that you are in Heaven. I love you and I pray that your family will rest in the knowledge that you are comfortable and whole with God. I'll see you when I get there! Say hi to Dixie Dog for me! - Love, Lindsay
