Bonnie Lou (Hays) Gaither was born on May 4, 1923 in Quail, Texas to the late Mirtie (Shelton) Hays and Eli Andrew Hays. She passed away on December 27, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 101.

She grew up in Quail, Texas. She loved crocheting, and listening to the Gaither Family. 

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, James Clifford Gaither; sons-in-law, Keith Anderson and Gary Cox; and sister, Alma Leuty. 

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Anderson and Pamela Cox; 7 grandchildren: James Stack and wife, Elisa; Aaron Stack and wife, Christy; Kimberly Franklin and husband, Michael; Amber Melby and husband, Brock; Dusti Anderson; Stephen Cox and wife, Jessica; and Stephanie Troutman and husband, Shawn; 13 great-grandchildren: Ashley, Christopher, Jasmine, James, Jr., Josh, Michelle, Tara, Adrianna, Alyssa, Nathaniel, Averie, Nicholas, and Makenzie; and 7 great-great grandchildren: Kaiden, Genesis, Jerilyn, Audax, Vera Lee, Shiloh, and Freya. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas with Kevin Finch officiating.
