Mrs. Bonnie Houston of Colquitt died Sunday, October 19, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. Interment will follow at Houston Cemetery with Henry Harbin, Brody McVey, Dalton Sheffield, Roy Oliver, Rod Bryan and Lex Belyeu serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Colquitt Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Houston was a homemaker and a member of South Side Baptist Church in Blakely.

She is survived by one son, Harold Houston of Colquitt; four grandchildren, Shana Briones of Albany, Chris Houston of Albany, Angie (Stuart) McVey of Blakely and Brandi Phillips of Donalsonville; nine great-gandchildren, Brody McVey, Sara Briones, Whitney (Ricky) Butler, Jessica Suggs, Jim Houston, Scott Houston, Logan Phillips, Elaina Phillips, and Hawk Phillips; four great-great grandchildren, Bonnie Sheffield, Jerome Suggs, Alexis Brannen, and Aubrey-Rhett Butler; and one brother, Crawford Oliver (Becky) Oliver of Camilla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Glen Houston; her parents, Connie and Sara Long Phillips; one great-grandson, Dakota Phillips; daughter, Rita Kelly; and one sister, Maggie Richter.
