Bonnie Jacobs Caldwell age 62, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026 surrounded by family.
Bonnie was, above all else, a wonderful mother & wife. Her love for her children was the compass of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with family, especially during the gatherings and events that brought everyone together.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Bonnie walked through life with the Lord as her guide. She found peace in her convictions and often reminded those around her that, "Salvation comes by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ." Bonnie was as genuine as they come, possessing a rare ability to care deeply for others especially the youth. She lived with a quiet strength that served her well, particularly during herlong career with US Airways. She was a woman who wasn't afraid to roll up her sleeves, and she would often proudly recount how she consistently outworked the boys on the job. She was a woman of eclectic passions. Bonnie could be found tending to her garden with the same care she gave her loved ones, or searching for the perfect treasure-often in the form of smooth, simple stones. She had a deep, soulful appreciation for music, and if you listen closely, you might still hear a Led Zeppelin track playing in the background of a fond memory. Her heart was always pulled toward the hills of Potter County, which she considered one of her favorite places on earth. Whether she was there, or surrounded by her family at home, Bonnie brought a brightness to the room that will be profoundly missed. We will carry her memory in our hearts, always remembering the kindness of her spirit and the radiance of her beautiful smile.
Bonnie is now reunited with those who went before her, including her cherished son, Robert "Bobby" J. Caldwell, best friend Linda Grigsby, father Frederic Jacobs, stepmother Dottie Jacobs, stepfather Ray Simpson and her sister Cathy Jacobs Marohn.
Survived by her mother Bonita J Simpson, Step father Harry McCrossin, Husband Ted Kennerly, Mother of Joseph S. Caldwell, (Melissa Zay-Caldwell), Brandy Caldwell (Phil Cerceo), step daughters Brittany Harrison, Lexi Yentch and Kristina Kennerly. Grandchildren Sydney Caldwell, Tony Caldwell, Sadie Caldwell and Georgie Makris.
Brothers Harry McCrossin (Christine), Robert Jacobs (Cheryl), Brother-in-law Scott Marohn, Sisters Cheri McCrossin-Jimenez (Braulio), Laurel Jacobs-McVaugh (Robert)
Bonnie also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who will miss her spirit dearly.
A celebration of life will be held in her memory, near future with immediate family.
