Bonnie Faye Jordan

Bonnie Faye Smith Jordan passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the age of 74. She was the cherished wife of the late Nolan H. Jordan. Loving mother of Sheila Becknel, Monette Springer, Roland Jordan and Twila Hoover. Daughter of the late Gertie Lee Walters and Noah "Shorty" Smith. Sister of Ruby Nell Lancaster, Annette Smith, Marvin Smith, Ralph Smith, Charlie Smith and the late Estelle Mills. Proud grandmother of Shanna Gonzales, Sonya Becknel, Seth Becknel, Anda Andrews, Cody Jordan, Tyler Jordan, Miranda Jordan, Caleb Hoover and Jacob Hoover. She is also survived and fondly remembered by O.B. Broadhead and her 5 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to many, who treasured her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend an evening visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, March 14th from 6:00PM – 9:00PM and again on Thursday morning from 9:00AM – 11:00AM. A funeral service will be celebrated in Bonnie's memory beginning at 11:00AM Thursday morning. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
