Bonnie Jean Marcinek

Bonnie Jean (Binger) Marcinek was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Samuel A. and Helen W. (Pevavar) Binger. She majored in accounting at West Virginia University, graduated in 1965, then worked in a Pittsburgh accounting office for two years. In 1967, she married her college sweetheart. Bonnie is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Joseph A. Marcinek; their children, "BJ" Bonnie Jo and Matthew Todd; BJ's husband, Dave, and Matthew's wife, Erin; grandchildren, Kaylee, Grayson, and Beckett; siblings, Samuel Binger, Jr., Beverly Jochim, and their spouses, Bunny and Marc; nieces, Rachel, Allison, and Mariana; and dear friends including Mary Pisarczyk, Norma MacLuskie, and Diana Houser.
As her husband was transferred in his career with Mobil Oil Corporation, Bonnie made new homes for the family in Texas, Illinois, Washington and Virginia. She delighted in beautiful decorative objects, good writing in many forms, crosswords and other puzzles, restaurants and cooking shows, several recording artists and live performances, cool number sequences, the softest fabrics, blue and beige, various collections, and always the thrill of a savvy shopping purchase. She wore her beauty without make-up and found the greatest contentment at home with family and friends. Bonnie was truly sweet and good, as befits the name, and she excelled at doing small acts with great love.
