Eugene was the beloved son of Eugene Butler Sr. and Ailen, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also brother to Jimmy Maness, who has passed before him. Eugene's family was central to his life, and he is survived by his son, Tracy (Talitha) Wall, who carries forward his legacy with honor. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, whose lives were enriched by his presence and love.
Eugene's extended family and community were vital parts of his journey. He is remembered fondly by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom counted him as a valued member of their lives. The loss is felt deeply by those who knew him, including those who mourn another son, DeCarlos Wall, who also passed before Eugene.
