Bonnie Jean May (87) went to her heavenly home on Monday October 6, 2025 to join her husband, Paul Lynn May, her son's Richard May and Robert Baker, her daughter Faye Angel, her granddaughter Ashley, great grandson Brayan, and her great granddaughter Jayda.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter Maresa (Randall) Work and husband Manuel of Jacksonville Texas, her daughter Paula Gober of Albuquerque New Mexico, son Paul May of Fairfield Texas and son Edward May and wife Sabrina of Ashdown Arkansas, 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Bonnie was born to Harold and Lela Woods on October 23, 1937 in York, Nebraska. As a child, she grew up in Clackamas, Oregon and graduated from Milwaukee high school in Milwaukee, Oregon. As a young adult, she ventured to California before starting her life as a loving wife and mother.

During her time as a Navy wife, Bonnie was involved in the Navy's wives club and provided a home to countless foster children. After her husband retired from the Navy they settled in Arkansas where Bonnie enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and raising her children.

Per her request, Bonnie will be cremated and her ashes along with ashes from her three children will join her husband's ashes in the ocean.
