Bonnie June Overton

Funeral Services, celebrating the life of Bonnie June Overton, 92, of Hebron, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 E Main St. in Kirkersville. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
Bonnie passed away on July 25, 2023, in Columbus following a brief illness. She was born February 22, 1931, in Newark, the daughter of the late Gladys M (Leaman) and James R. Mitchell.
She worked at PBI in Pataskala and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Kirkersville U.M. Church and Licking CO. Genealogy Society. She loved her flowers and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving family: Richard Linn of Hebron, Dennis (Carolyn) Linn of Rapid City, S.D., James "J.C." Linn of Hebron, Paul (Christine) Linn of Newark, Scott Linn of Thornville, Cathy (Jim) Morgan of Hebron, Nancy (Tim) Henry of Lakewood; sister Patricia (Howard) Watts of Newark; sister-in-law, Eileen Mitchell; along with her 28 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many step grandchildren; along with special loved ones Vicki Sulpher, Cindi Pitzer and Becky Cobb-Swick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Philip W Linn and James E Overton, Sr., along with her sister Shirley Stukey and brother Larry Mitchell.
