Bonnie Jean Reinier, 66, passed away on October 1st 2025. Bonnie was born and raised in
Des Moines, Iowa on February 26th 1959. Bonnie had a long relationship with Terry and had many memories, though they may have drifted apart they stayed close friends until the end. Bonnie was a medical dispatcher for Access to Care/MTM for many years. If you asked her "she was the best dispatcher there was". She met many coworkers who soon became some of her close friends. Bonnie is survived by her long life parter/friend Terry, brother David, sister Norma, nephew Randy (Ashley), niece Jessica (Matt), great nieces and nephews who she looked at like grand babies Hayley, Baiya, Braiden, Austyn, and many friends. Bonnie was proceeded in death by mother Gloria Jordan, Step-father Lyle Rushing, grandma Ruby Carlstedt, grandpa John Carlstedt, nephew Dillon Jones, and many close friends she missed dearly. Things Bonnie really enjoyed are being with her family and friends. Bonnie loved planning Sunday dinners and having everyone over to eat, she loved making sure you had a belly full before you left and more than likely was sending food home with you. Bonnie loved to go mushroom hunting, even though she was scared of snakes, never would she miss a time to go mushroom hunting. Bonnie had her own secret spot and would never tell anyone because that was her "sugar hole". Bonnie loved going so much so she ended up getting lost one time and all she could do is giggle telling you about it didn't bother her a bit. Bonnie enjoyed going to the National Balloon Classic's, and not just going to sit in the field she wanted to be driving the dirt roads finding the hot air balloons landing in the random fields, that was the fun she loved to do. We can't forget the deals, Bonnie loved getting a deal, from garage sales, using expired coupons at Target, confusing the cashiers at JCPenny's, or going to Younkers close out sale everyday, Bonnie wanted the deals and would get them no matter what. Bonnie also loved gambling and playing bingo, she talked frequently of all the stories she has going up to Tama, Prairie Meadows, The Boat, Las Vegas, and her cruise, those were some of her best memories she would say. Bonnie was a talker and loved talking on the phone. That could be to friends or family didn't matter she would talk, her family used to tease her because some calls were just questions from her and that's all, still didn't matter she would still call back the next night just wanting to talk. Bonnie loved a lot of things in life and had a lot of great memories, but the one thing she loved the most out of everything was being Aunt Bon. It didn't matter if you were just a friend, friends grandkids, friends friend, didn't matter who you were she was Aunt Bon and she was oh so very proud of that. She took the word Aunt to the next level and nobody could compare to Aunt Bon! Bonnie was a one of a kind person and will truly be missed by all!
