Bonnie L. Texley

Bonnie L. Texley, age 75, of Necedah, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Fairview Nursing Home in Mauston. She was born on December 11, 1949, to Walter and Anastasia (Bartkowski) Baldwin in Bensenville, Illinois. She lived in Elgin, Illinois for much of her life until settling in Necedah, Wisconsin in 1999.
As a devoted mother and homemaker, she poured her heart into nurturing her family. Her role as a mother, and grandmother, was her greatest joy and achievement. She also spread her kindness beyond her family threshold through her work cleaning houses later in life. Bonnie was also an avid gardener and lover of nature and animals. She was often seen tending to her landscaping, cultivating or planting trees or other ornamentals, much to the dismay of her husband who often referred to the yard as an obstacle course when mowing.
Bonnie's life was deeply rooted in her Christian faith. As an incredibly faith-filled Catholic, it was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and thoughts, and providing solace during times of hardship. Bonnie found joy in the simple pleasures of prayer, fellowship, and service to others. It was this faith that gave her strength, and it is this faith that her loved ones take comfort in, knowing that Bonnie has been welcomed into the eternal embrace of her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her son, David (Danja) Texley, and two grandchildren Anastasia and Blaise.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents, and her sister Alice (Charles) Mayberry.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Necedah, Wisconsin. Father Wesley Janowski will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
