It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Bonnie Jo Tripp went home to the lord on May 9, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones and friends.
Bonnie was born September 30,1945, in Price, Utah, to Joseph and Aleta Tomlinson. She married Daniel Tripp in June 1965.
Life brought Bonnie to Morenci, AZ, in 1983 where she made numerous friends. She was a devout Catholic who attended Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church until she moved to Safford in 2018.
Bonnie loved her family, friends, and flowers often saying "it is so neat to watch something tiny grow into something big and beautiful." Bonnie loved spending time with family and friends often happiest when her home was overflowing with loved ones for holidays and special occasions. She greeted everyone who visited with a warm smile and a hug, excited to share a lunch or catch up on life events. She was always being her family's biggest cheerleader hoping and praying for the best for everyone. She made sure everyone knew they were in her thoughts and prayers by sending letters and cards for every birthday without fail. When you had a friend in Bonnie you had a friend for life. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
She is preceded in death by: her mother, Aleta Tomlinson (Holman); father, Joseph Tomlinson; husband, Daniel Tripp; brother, Dean Tomlinson; and grandson, Bertin Tripp.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Burcar, Daniel "Danny" Tripp, Kimberly Macy, Norrie Lax, Dannette Baker, Duane Tripp, Sean Tripp, Jason Tripp, Mary-Donna Lizarraga, Delta Cobos; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her immensely.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bonnie will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Rev. Nicodemus Shaghel. Committal will follow in the Hubbard Cemetery.
A rosary and prayers will be offered Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., also at the church. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Bonnie, please visit our Tree Store.
