Bonnie was born on March 25, 1943 to Earl and Clarice Leiberg. She was raised in Manvel, ND and graduated from Manvel High School. Bonnie married her first husband David Morrison and they had three children. She then met Richard Vacura, he had six children. They were married on June 8, 1968, and together they had a daughter.
Bonnie started working taking care of her grandparents while in high school. She worked as a waitress until her retirement. Bonnie and Richard started traveling the United States during the winter months from 1989 and then settled down in Mission, TX.
Her loving family includes children: Catherine Vacura, Roberta Dahlgren (Fred), Richard Vacura (Debbie), Tamarie Kvernen (Paul), Guy Vacura, Donald Morrison, MaDonna Egeland (John), Cheryl Olson (Craig), Teresa Larson (Corby), and Shannon Vacura; 21 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandkids; brother Marvin Leiberg, and nephew Jeff Leiberg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Vacura, and 1 Grandchild.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Mendenhall Presbyterian Church, 528 10th Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN
Visitation: 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Mendenhall Presbyterian Church.
Inurnment: Memorial Park South Cemetery ~ Grand Forks, ND in the spring
