Kirk Richard Driscoll was born January 7, 1961 in Grand Forks, ND, the eldest son of Richard and Mary (Skyberg) Driscoll. He grew up and attended school in East Grand Forks, where his love of family, friends and hands-on work took root early. He grew up farming but was always a mechanic, Kirk built a life around hard work and helping others. He was the proud owner and operator of Driscoll's Auto Service in East Grand Forks, where he was known not only for his skill but also for his laughter, his good-natured teasing, and the way he always made time for a story or a joke. He was a member of the Masonic Temple #292 and a past-president as well as a member of the KEM Shrine.
On March 1, 2003, Kirk married Kristy Barrett in Key West, FL. Together they shared many motorcycle trips and travels before her passing. In later years, Kirk enjoyed a beautiful partnership with Sheryl Manske. They spent many weekends at the lake-boating and visiting with friends, and simply enjoying the moments together.
Kirk loved being outdoors, golfing, playing pool, and spending time with his grandkids. Nothing made him happier than watching their events, sharing a laugh, or telling one of his classic stories.
Kirk is survived by his three sons: Sonny (Lisa) Driscoll of East Grand Forks, Kaleb (Brandi) Driscoll of East Grand Forks and Zak (Krystal) Driscoll of West Fargo; grandchildren Jaden, Kylan, Lawson, Isla and Emrie; siblings Carla Bakken, Kim (Mark) Miller, and Kyle Driscoll all of East Grand Forks; partner Sheryl Manske of Grand Forks and her children Maddy Manske and Nick (Taylor) Manske; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends who will deeply miss his warmth and humor. He was preceded in death by his wife Kristy Driscoll and parents Dick and Mary Driscoll.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1515 5th Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721.
VISITATION: 10:00 AM until time of Memorials Service at Noon also at the Church on Saturday.
INTERMENT: Nisbet Cemetery in Mallory, MN at a later time.

I first met Kirk as a salesperson selling products to Driscoll's Repair. Kirk always treated me with respect that turned into a great business and personal relationship. When I would stop in to visit or on the phone we would spend a little time talking about business at hand but mostly about life and other non-business things and of course a joke and a story or two.
Kirk was just genuine, wonderful person that will be missed by so many but not ever forgotten. RIP my friend.
