Of Braddock Hills, formerly of Lawrenceville, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Born the daughter of the late Stephen Majetich and the late Dorothy (Stokes) Majetich.

Beloved mother of Kimberly (Matthew) Cole of Braddock Hills, James (Elizabeth Hickey) Vilsack of Wilkins Twp., Kellie (Daniel) Maybury of Monroeville, Gayje Vilsack of Mt. Washington, and the late Kathleen Vilsack.

Loving grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her siblings, Timothy Majetich, Dolly Pieszak, and Stephen Majetich.

Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was a graduate of Pittsburgh Schenley High School. She went on to attend CCAC Northside and earned her degree in nursing. Bonnie then embarked on a tenured career registered nurse at Shadyside Hospital, before retiring in 1991. She enjoyed the thrill of fishing at the 11th street dock in Braddock. Her children often joked about the days Bonnie would come home and fill her bathtub full of fish from her days catch. Bonnie found joy in consistently keeping a clean home and a well-manicured yard, along with her favorite hobby of hosing down her driveway and the street.

She will forever be remembered for her independence and the pride she took in raising her family at whatever the cost.

Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 2-7 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Bonnie in December, details to be announced later.
