Bonnie B. Voliva

Bonnie Barr Voliva, age 90 of Pocahontas, IL, died Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home in rural Pocahontas, IL.
She was born on Friday, January 11, 1935, in Dahlgren, IL, the daughter of Alva and Vada (nee Barr) Dale.
On Saturday, October 20, 1956, she married William L. Voliva, who passed away April 2, 2013.
Bonnie was born in Dahlgren, Illinois on a farm in the family home. She grew up there as well and graduated from McLeansboro High School. She worked at a shirt factory in McLeansboro for a while. After she married William she was a homemaker and raised her family. She was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Hamel, Illinois. Bonnie enjoyed hand quilting and embroidery. She loved playing card games and putting together puzzles. Another of her loves was her small dog, named "Lil Girl." Bonnie was a great cook and loved family events.

Arrangements are being handled by Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra, IL.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Eastside Community Church in Hamel, IL.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Eastside Community Church in Hamel, IL., with Mark Pottorff, son-in-law, officiating.
Interment will be at Middle Creek Cemetery in Dahlgren, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Illinois Hospice or Baptist Children's Home and Family Services (BCHFS).
