Bonnie Jeen Wilde, 90, passed away September 30, 2025, in Morgan, Utah. She was born on February 17, 1935, in Oakley, Utah, to John and Lucille Phillips Simpson. On June 24, 1953, Bonnie married Wendell H. Wilde in Oakley, Utah. Together they had five children, Trev, Tyree, Trina and twin girls Tonya and Tammie.
An avid sport enthusiast, Bonnie enjoyed spending time playing recreational league volleyball and softball. Her commitment to the game extended beyond personal enjoyment, as she spent several years coaching softball, sharing her knowledge and love for the sport with younger generations. Bonnie was also actively involved in the local 4-H club.
Bonnie had a special fondness for Utah Jazz, following the team's journey through the seasons. Her engagement with the community did not stop at sports; she was a volunteer for many years with the Summit County Health Counsel, was member of the Utah Daughters of Pioneers, and found joy in social connections, regularly spending time with others at the Senior Center.
Bonnie is survived by her three loving children: Trev (Loni) of Ogden, Utah, Tyree (Jackie) of Portland, Oregon, and Trina (Dwayne) of Evanston, Wyoming, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wendell; parents, John and Lucille Simpson; twin daughters, Tonya and Tammie, and a brother, Rex.
Family and friends will gather to honor her memory during a viewing on October 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:15 at Crandall Funeral Home in Kamas, Utah. Following the viewing, a graveside service will take place at Stevens Cemetery in Oakley at 12:45 PM.
