Bonnie Wooley of Elk Horn, daughter of the late Darlis Thelbert Cox and Viola Garrett Cox, was born September 15, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:57 A.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.
Bonnie was a homemaker. Whether it was working in the fields or driving a farm truck, she dedicated her life to her family.
She united in marriage to Shirley Wooley December 26, 1955 and he preceded her in death September 30, 2014.
Bonnie was a great mother and loving grandmother.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Shirley Wooley and wife, Tina and Bonnie Wicker and husband, Larry of Elk Horn and Ronald Lee Wooley and wife, Lucy of Campbellsville; one daughter-in-law, Donna Wooley of Elk Horn; fourteen grandchildren: Terry Louise Smith and husband, Matt of Washington State, Angie Ellis and significant other, Matthew Parker of Campbellsville, Adam Wooley and wife, Shawna of Campbellsville, Jason Wooley and significant other, Trina Davis of Elk Horn, Rachel Purvis and husband, George of Campbellsville, Richard Wooley and wife, Ashley of Campbellsville, Alan Wooley and wife, Tori of London, Ryan Elder of St. Francis, Erica Hagan and husband, Jason of Raywick, Thomas Wooley of Elk Horn, LeKisha Hensley and husband, Donnie of Carrollton, Rachelle Wooley of Lebanon, Cody Wicker and wife, Terri Ann of Campbellsville and Logan Wicker and wife, Mylea of Campbellsville; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Curtis Cox and wife, Ruby of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by two sons: Roger Keith Wooley and Donald Thelbert Wooley; a grandson, Michael Thelbert Wooley; one great-grandson, Grayson Wooley and brothers and sisters: Orvin Cox, Ray Cox, Bernice Lawson, Thelbert Cox, Fern Tungate, Corine Brooks and Chloe Cox in infancy.
