“She is more precious than jewels.” Proverbs 31:10
Bonny Joy (Fry) Nelson
February 18, 1945 – August 23, 2025
Bonzo the Great…our beauty queen went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 23 rd . She loved her family, her garden (especially her Dahlias), coconut popsicles, and any dessert. She was adventurous, funny, creative, and strong willed. She was a trooper.
Bonny was preceded in death by her son, Doug. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leonard, her daughter, Hila Nelson, daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and Ward Copley, and her grandchildren, Edward and Owen Copley.
The family is most grateful for Rebecca Mondragon and Stephanie Tucker, her best friend, Ann Neff, and friends that have helped in so many ways.
In lieu of flowers, the family would love for trees to be planted in her memory https://shop.arborday.org/trees-in-memory
