Boyd Baisden Obituary
Boyd worked as a Process Control Engineer for the Diamond Products Company in Elyria, retiring after 40 years in 2004.
He loved spending time in his garden and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He always looked forward to spending time with his family and special friends, Jack Baisden Sr, Jack Jr, Mick, Jerry Wayne Vance, Kelly Vance and Teddy Hale at the cabin in Point Pleasant, WV.
Boyd shared his love of bluegrass music by playing the guitar and joining in with his brothers in law, Eugene and Lester Bryant. He was a very good mechanic as well.
Everyone around Boyd knew him to love a good joke and make everyone laugh.
Surviving family members include wife of 58 years, Oma (nee Bryant); children Donna S. (Rodney) Baisden of Wellington, OH, Boyd (Christie Gallion) Baisden Jr and Kevin Baisden of Sullivan; grandchildren Jerry (Lindsey Martin) Jones, Sierra (Eddie) Freeman, Kassidy (Jordan Diederich) Eplin, Brandon (Paula) Baisden, Renee (Markus Miller) Baisden, Tyler Baisden, Amanda Terry, Kevin Baiden Jr., and Skyler Baisden; ; many great grandchildren; and brothers Karlis Baisden (the late Vicki) of Sioux City, IA and Jimmy Baisden (the late Linda) of Verdunville, WV.
Preceded in death by daughter Terrie Lynn Eplin, parents and eleven siblings.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 2-5pm at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Ave., Elyria. Celebration of Life will immediately follow the visitation at the Elyria Amvet Post 32, 11087 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH
