Boyd "Bill" William Oldham

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Boyd William “Bill" Oldham, who left this world on February 9, 2025, at the age of 81. Boyd was born on August 15, 1943 in Medford, Oregon to Boyd and Wilma Oldham. 

Bill served proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam Crisis. He worked as an offshore engineer in the petroleum industry and with his wife traveled abroad for many years before retiring and making their home in Rockport, Texas. Bill was a classical trained musician, he was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Rockport, where he sang in the choir. He loved collecting books and sharing them with his friends.

Bill spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his stepson, Matthew Glinka; brother, Fred Oldham. 

Left to cherish his memory his loving wife, Marlene Oldham; stepdaughters, Carla Glinka, and Diane Glinka. 

Friends and neighbors are invited to a Memorial gathering scheduled from 10 to 12 on Wednesday, February 26th at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall located on Enterprise Blvd. Services will be held at a later date at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
