I originally posted a below similar message but for some reason it did not show my name.
I am saddened to hear of Boyd's passing. I vividly recall his playing trumpet, his brother, Jerome, later my brother-in-law, playing the baritone, and my playing saxophone with them many years ago at Central Baptist Church when it was located on College Avenue in Athens, Ga. Condolences to his son Darrell and Daughter, Carol on his passing.

Sorry to hear of Boyd's passing. Recall vividly his playing trumpet, his brother Jerome playing baritone, and my playing saxophone for congregational singing at Central Baptist Church in Athens many years ago. He will be certainly missed. Sympathies to Carol, Darrell, and their families.
