Boyd Nance Obituary
He was born on September 1, 1942, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Sarah Akins Nance and William "Tom" Nance. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. He enjoyed reading and electronics. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Venezuela; and his brother-in-law, Ray Venezeula.
His survivors include his ex-wife and caregiver, Tomi Nance of Madisonville; daughter, Sandra (Jim) Root of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Bill (Tanya) Nance of Madisonville; grandchildren, James (Kristina) Root of Colorado Springs, Jon (Shannon) Root of Colorado Springs, and Amber ( Brad) Phelps of Madisonville; and his great-grandchildren, Zane, Stori, Masen, Elijah, Kristopher, Axl, Ethan, and Eloise.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
