Rev. Steve Duane Graham, age 69, passed away on February 1, 2026, at Centennial Medical Center.

Born on July 19, 1956, in Madisonville, Kentucky, Steve was a proud graduate of Madisonville High School, Class of 1974. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and English from Austin Peay University and later completed his Master of Divinity at Vanderbilt University.

Rev. Graham served faithfully in ministry for over 30 years, dedicating his life to faith, teaching, and pastoral care. He also proudly served his country as a United States Marine, Special Forces sniper, a role that reflected his discipline, courage, and commitment to service.

Alongside his calling and military service, Steve worked in construction and as a handyman throughout his life, known for his strong work ethic and his willingness to help anyone in need. He was an avid reader who loved learning, loved music, and found joy and peace in golfing and hiking.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Trecia (Scott) Graham; his brothers, Nelson Graham and Scottie Graham; his sister, Sherry Knight; and his son, Elijah Darden.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Kelly Renee (Gibson) Graham; his daughter, Andrea “Andi” Graham; Kennedy (Jared) Poley; his grandchildren, Lilyann Madison Hester, Nathaniel Steven Hester, Dalton James Hester, Adaline Grace Parker, Autumn Lynn Parker, and Anthony Wayne Parker; his great-granddaughter, Lylah Rose Willis; and hundreds of cousins, friends, and church members.

Rev. Steve Duane Graham will be remembered for his servant’s heart, deep faith, love of learning, love of music, and a life defined by service—to God, to country, and to others.

A Celebration of Life will be held near his hometown on July 19, 2026. Details will be announced at a later time.
