Boyd Ernest Roberts, 95, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in West Plains, Missouri.
He was born in Peace Valley, Arkansas, on October 24, 1930, son of the late Ernest and Minnie (Dover) Roberts. Boyd served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a farmer by trade, which he enjoyed very much. Boyd was a community businessman and leader and had served on the Fulton County Fair Board. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He was a member of Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. Boyd was a family man and loved his family very much.
Boyd is survived by his wife Eva Roberts of the home; son Kerry Roberts of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; daughters Angela Ferguson (Gary) of Salem, Arkansas, Dana Mayfield (Scott) of Patton, Missouri, Jan Brown (Sonny) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and Terry Berry of Bono, Arkansas; brother Bernard Roberts (Pearlene) of Washington; grandchildren Jamey Roberts (Monica), Jason Roberts (Jamie) Mindy Guffey (Keith), Nathan Ferguson (Amanda), Jeremy Mayfield (Ashley), Jared Mayfield (Kristy), Maria Nichols (Matt), Michael Brown, Robyn Ashley Elliott (Ian), Stephen Berry and Scott Berry; 15 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephew, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Lois Roberts; parents and daughter in law Joyce Roberts.
Pallbearers include: Keith Guffey, Nathan Ferguson, Owen Guffey, Easton Ferguson, Stephen Berry and Jared Mayfield
Honorary Pallbearers include: Sonny Brown, Powell Blevins, Gary Ferguson and Scott Mayfield
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 21, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. Tom Doty officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salem Cemetery.
