Bozidar Eric

Bozidar "Bozo" Eric, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Clearwater, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at CHI Hospital in Hot Springs, AR at the age of 70 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Senje, Serbia, on November 23, 1954 and migrated to the United States in 1978. He is preceded in death by his parents, Miodrag and Milka Eric, of Senje, Serbia.
Prior to his retirement, Bozo was a serial entrepreneur in the automotive industry. He successfully started his first car wash in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in 1986 followed by another car wash in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin soon after before moving to Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1995 where he continued his business ventures as a gas station and car wash owner.
He spent several years in Clearwater, Florida in the early 2000s before moving back to Arkansas in 2007 to retire. Over the years, he successfully owned several car washes, oil changes, a used car dealership, a gas station, and rental properties in Arkansas, Wisconsin, and Florida. His latest and most prideful venture was Fast Track Car Wash and Oil/Lube with his son Miodrag in Hot Springs. Following his retirement, Bozo enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren on the family farm. He will be mostly missed for his witty personality, honesty, and words of wisdom. Over the years, he gained the nickname of "Kombinirko" for always having a solution to every problem. He was always willing to give a helping hand and words of wisdom free of charge.
He was blessed to spend the last years of his life with his son and daughter in law, Miodrag and Lea Eric, and grandchildren: Predrag, Eva, and Nina, of Hot Springs, AR. He is survived by a host of other family members and friends who miss him dearly. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, January 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, 155 Section Line Road, Hot Springs, AR.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1st at 11:00 AM at the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church at 384 Mt. Riante Road, Hot Springs, AR with Father Tomislav Savic officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the practitioners and nursing staff of Arkansas Hospice and CHI St. Vincent Hospital 2-West for their caring efforts over the last few weeks, and especially to MD Anderson Cancer Institute and Dr. Stephen "Fred" Divers and his staff at Genesis Cancer Institute for their caring efforts over the last several years.
Bozo will be missed by many. Vjecnaja Pamjat! Memory Eternal!
