Brad Ellis Cumer, 42, of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly, in his home Friday March 4, 2023.
He was born July 24, 1980, in Washington, a son of James E. and Linda Rose Shrout Cumer Sr who live in Canonsburg.
Brad lived most of his life in Canonsburg, for the exception of 10 years in Baltimore Md. and a short time in Florida. He was a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and attended the Music Workshop in Ohio for recording and studio work. He also attended college for two years while living in Maryland. A fabulous guitar player, Brad had been in many local bands in his younger years in the area.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and time spent with his dogs Sandy and Annie. Brad was self-employed, owning Due South Construction where he did remodeling, construction and most recently specializing in concrete work.
Left behind to cherish his memory in addition to his parents is his son, Tyler James Kaecher of Canonsburg; his brother, Joseph Cumer and his wife Amanda L. of Washington; and several, aunts, uncles and cousins. Deceased is his sister Amanda E. Cumer.
Friends and family are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 10, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/ supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday March 11, 2023. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
