Brad Chandler Geren, 53, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at his home.
Brad was born on Monday, April 10, 1972, in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was the son of Terry Chandler Geren and Mary Lucille (Shoemaker) Geren.
Brad was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. He graduated from Livingston Academy in 1990. He loved coaching and playing any sport. He was an avid bowler, was able to bowl well with either hand, and was in multiple leagues over the years. He enjoyed golfing and went on numerous trips with friends. He loved to cook, watch movies, especially sports movies, and loved Alabama Football. He adored his community, working with multiple churches, and spent many years in car sales. He also worked for Crest Lawn Funeral Home for 18 years. He never met a stranger and considered everyone family. Brad was loved by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
Brad is survived by his wife of 25 years, Andrea Danielle (Ferguson) Geren; 2 Children, Cole Chandler Geren and Callie Danielle Geren; Mother and Father, Lucille and Terry Geren; Brother, Nathan Geren and his wife, Lesley; 2 Sisters-in-law, Christi Peppers, and Jonelle Summitt and her husband, Blair; Brother-in-law, Hyde Ferguson and his wife, Jaime; Nieces and Nephews, Savanna and Chase Geren, Davey and Josh Peppers, Sophie and Ben Summitt, and Liam Ferguson; 2 Aunts, Hazel Brogan and her husband, Rick, and Jan Breeding; Mother-in-law, Judy Ferguson.
Brad was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Michelle Geren; Maternal Grandparents, John and Louverne Shoemaker; Paternal Grandparents, Dean Geren, and Louise Hartley.
Funeral Service for Brad Chandler Geren will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
