Brad Lee Smith, age 32, of Versailles, passed away June 12, 2024. He was born December 19, 1991, in Sedalia and lived most of his life in Versailles.
He was a prankster and loved making someone or anyone laugh. He loved baseball, basketball and any sport he could play outside.
Brad loved his family and friends. He was always willing to help, even if it got him into trouble.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dustin Ray Smith and his step-grandfather, John Edward DeGraffenried.
Brad leaves behind his mother, April Simmons and step-father, Richard Simmons; three brothers and sister-in-law, David Herrmeyer and wife Tiffany, Wayne Smith and John Smith; six nieces and nephews, Desirea Smith, Melissa Smith, Joseph Cantrell, Jaydn Smith, Levi Herrmeyer and Madilynn Witt; maternal grandparents, Dennis Herrmeyer and Diana DeGraffenried; paternal grandmother, Judy Reynolds and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brad will be missed and was loved by many.
A celebration of Brad's life will be held Saturday, June 22nd, at the Gravois Baseball Park on Troutdale Road from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to his mother, April Simmons.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.
