Brad Wolters Obituary

Published by Yntema Funeral Home on Aug. 1, 2021.
Brad Wolters, age 36, of Zeeland, was received into glory by his Lord and Savior in his home on August 1, 2021. Brad grew up in Zeeland, attended Zeeland Christian School and graduated from Holland Christian High School. He attended Grand Rapids Community College for 1 year with an interest in the Criminal Justice System. He worked at Engelsman Greenhouse for 25 years and held a crew leader position for the past few years. Brad was a true outdoorsman. At a very young age he began hunting, fishing and doing anything possible in the great outdoors. He enjoyed annual fishing trips with family and friends. Brad had a heart of gold and loved his family and friends deeply. He was kind, adventurous, loved, and had a humble spirit. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Wolters, and grandparents, Bill and Helene Wolters, and Arie and Harriet Spek. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Wolters; siblings, Michael Wolters, Jennifer (Joe) Stevens, Joshua Wolters; 2 nieces and 2 nephews, Mackenzie, Lexi, Lincoln, and Declan Stevens; aunts and uncles, Beth and Mark DeJong, Paul and Rachel Spek, Sally and Chad Meyer; cousins, and many close friends. A private family graveside service for Brad will be held at the Zeeland Cemetery, with Rev. Bernie Mulder officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to His Harvest Stand. I will never forget Brad. He and I were both voted
Most likely to be late for class in our high school yearbook. I was excited to reconnect with him at our high school reunion. We had so much fun that night. He had such a kind heart and sweet soul and infectious smile. I was so sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends.
