Pastor Brad Morgan - a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, faithful shepherd, and kind friend - born on July 20th, 1956 in
Dover, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Brad lived a life marked by unwavering faith, deep compassion, and a steadfast belief that with God, "the best is yet to come."
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Marie; his sons, David (Hayley) Morgan, Jonathan Morgan, and Stephen (Meredith) Morgan; and his dear grandsons, Jordan Lee Morgan and Renn James Morgan. He is also survived by his brothers, Jeff (Jana) Morgan and Rick (Pat) Morgan, and his sister, Tammy (Tim) Heinrich.
In 2001, Brad and Ann Marie founded New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, Texas. What began as a small home fellowship grew into a people-centered ministry that touched lives locally and around the world. Brad had a heart for the nations, traveling to Guyana, Trinidad, Kenya, and beyond-teaching, mentoring pastors, and forming lasting, faith-filled relationships.
Closer to home, one of Brad's greatest callings was mentoring young men one-on-one. He saw purpose and life in them before they saw it in themselves, investing countless hours listening, praying, guiding, and walking alongside them. Many of those he mentored now serve in ministry around the world, carrying forward the wisdom, faith, and encouragement he poured into their lives.
Brad authored The Journey, a personal autobiography in which he bravely shared his struggle with depression and a nervous breakdown, a journey that testified to God's power to bring hope and healing in even the most impossible circumstances. His life showed that God offers a "new life" and a "new beginning" to what seems lost.
A gifted prophet, Brad spoke words of wisdom, encouragement, and guidance that continue to bear fruit in the lives of many. His words were always anchored in love and a genuine desire to see people walk fully in God's promises. His legacy lives on through his family, the church he founded, and countless lives he touched. Today, we celebrate a life well lived-a race faithfully run-and rejoice that he is now with the One he longed to see.
Brad, above all else, loved people. To Ann Marie, he was a devoted husband and loving partner in life and ministry. To his sons, he was a steady example of integrity, faith, and perseverance-pointing them toward Christ and encouraging them to steward their God-given gifts in excellence. His family will remember his gentle strength, his sarcastic wit, his prayers and encouraging words, and the unwavering pride he had in each of them. While we grieve, we take comfort knowing his love for people endures and that his legacy will be carried on.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at New Life Beginnings Church, 5609 FM 359,
Brookshire, Texas, on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Pastor Brad's name to New Life Beginnings Church in honor and remembrance of his life.
