Bradford Brooks Pearce, known affectionately as Brad, was a beacon of love and selflessness whose laughter and kindness touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Born on January 9, 1955, in Milford, Delaware, To William Brooks Pearce and Betty Lou Pearce. Brad's journey through life was marked by an unwavering dedication to his family, his faith, and his community. His earthly journey came to a close on September 20, 2025, in Dover, Delaware, due to a vehicular accident, but his legacy endures in the hearts of those he left behind.

Brad was a devoted husband to his wife, Jean Pearce, and a loving father to his children, Brooks Pearce, Jena Huber (married to Phillip Huber), and Ali Fueller (married to Tony Fueller). He also cherished his role as a stepfather to Steven Bromley, Richard Bromley (married to Cristina Bromley), and Georgianna Bromley, as well as many others that he welcomed into his family to care for with the intention to provide guidance for their lives. Brad enjoyed being part of a large family that consisted of aunts, uncles and cousins that he grew up with as a child and played with often. As the years went on he loved being part of their family dinners. His grandchildren, Ava, Nolan, Ila, Cash, Stone, Emily, and Olivia, were the apples of his eye, and he took great joy in every moment he spent with them.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Kay Pearce.

A proud graduate of Caesar Rodney High School in 1974, Brad went on to become a certified meat cutter, a skill he honed and shared with his community for over four decades, most notably at SAM's Club. His work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident to all who worked alongside him.

Brad's Christian faith was the cornerstone of his life. He lived by the words of Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." Brad embodied this scripture, serving diligently behind the scenes at Dover World Outreach Church. His efforts ensured that services ran smoothly, providing a sanctuary where his church family could worship in peace and openness.

His interests were as varied as they were passionate. Brad was an avid player of tennis and ping pong, and his skill in Isshin Ryu Karate earned him a black belt. He found solace and joy in spending time at the beach, where the tranquility of the ocean waves mirrored the peace, he carried within. Yet, above all, his favorite pastime was being with his family, whom he adored more than anything.

Brad's life was a testament to the power of love and service to others. In every small act of kindness, every moment of laughter shared, and every service provided without seeking recognition, Brad did great things with great love.

Today, as we remember Brad, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life full of purpose and joy. He was a man who taught us that the measure of a life is not in its duration, but in its donation. Brad's donation was one of love, laughter, and selfless service, and for that, his memory will forever be cherished.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Dover World Outreach Church of God, 3941 West Denney's Road, Dover, DE. 19904. Visitation will be from 11 to 12, Service will begin at 12 noon, with a reception following.
