Bradley Barnes Obituary
November 30, 1957 - November 10, 2025
Longtime Manson, Wash., resident Bradley J. Barnes passed away on November
10, 2025. He was born in Seattle, Wash. on November 30, 1957, and adopted
by his beloved parents Fred and Mildred Barnes. Raised in Wenatchee,
Wash., he graduated from WHS, proud to be a part of Panther football. In
1981, he took over the family apple and cherry orchard in Manson and
married Diane Redmond in 1985. They had two children, Ben and Katie
Barnes.
Brad was actively involved in his community coaching youth sports,
Manson HS football, and the Wenatchee Rams semi-pro football team. He
served on the Manson Community Council, Board of Reclamation, and was
the President of the Washington State Horticulture Association.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by wife,
Diane, of 40 years; son, Ben (Hayley); daughter, Katie (Michael); and
two grandchildren (Gabriel and Abigail); sister, Rebecca (Eric); and
numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for Spring 2026.

I met Brad and Wally Gibbons when they were Sophomores at Wenatchh High School, where they had just beaten my Eastmont team, 47-6. They came up to after the game and we were good friends from then on. Brad and I visited often over the years, sharing our experiences with Diabetes. I asked Barney to be the OLine coach for my Wenatchee Valley Ram football team. I will sorely miss sitting in his shop at the orchard. I loved Brad Barnes. Love to Diane and family.
