Bradley Bishop Obituary

Bradley Kent Bishop, born on September 8, 1959, of Nampa, ID passed away on February 6, 2026 surrounded by all of his children at St. Als Hospital.

Born in Twin Falls, ID to John Bishop and Carolyn (Bishop) Laird. Brad was the oldest of five children and four step siblings, Rick Bishop, Steve Bishop, Jeff Bishop, Nina Hansen, Scott Bausermen, Brad Bausermen, Richard Steckler and Kristen Steckler.

Brad was a proud father to five children: Jeff (Mariah), Alicia, Nicole, Kelly, and Matt (Veronica). His greatest pride and joy was being "Grandpa" to his beloved grandchildren - Cory, Cole, Jacob, Tanner, Reid, Jaden, Madilynn, Deklan, Braylon, Tate, Jack, and great grandchild Koji. He treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, and close family whether it was sharing stories, laughter, advice, or just sitting together enjoying the day having a beer.

While Brad grew up in Jerome he was able to see many parts of the country while serving in the United States Air Force from 1981-1995. While in The Air Force, Brad became a Civil Engineer in which he remained until he retired in 2024.

Brad had a deep love for rock hunting, belonging to the Idaho Gem Club for over 30 years.

Camping trips, fishing, and tending to his garden brought him peace and happiness. He found comfort in nature and created countless memories with his family around campfires, on riverbanks, and in quiet outdoor moments. He embraced the simple, "typical grandpa" joys of life, and those moments became lasting gifts to the people he loved most.

Brad will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his love of the outdoors, and the steady presence he brought into the lives of those who knew him.

His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and family he spent time with in every stone discovered, every fishing line cast, and every garden planted in his honor.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A memorial service will be held on March 7th, 2026 at The Church of Latter-day Saints at 927 Ruth Ln in Nampa, ID at 11:00am.
