Obituary of Bradley J. Booth

August 4, 1956 - December 8, 2025

Bradley J. Booth. Age 69 of Flat Rock.

Bradley James Booth, a lifelong resident of Huron Township, passed away on December 8th, 2025 surrounded by the love of those closest to him.

Brad was the beloved husband of Diane Booth and a proud father to Lindsey (Timothy) Williams, Brittney (Nathan) Krenning, and Gage Booth. He is survived by his granddaughter, Genevieve Williams. He is also survived by his niece, Cathy Richmond, and his nephew, Jerry Rubright.

A graduate of Huron High School, Class of 1975, Brad spent most of his life in the community he called home. He dedicated his career to the auto industry, where his strong work ethic and engineering skill were well respected. He retired in 2023 from Yangfeng US Automotive after many years of service as an Engineer.

Brad had a deep love for the outdoors, especially the water. Whether on the Huron River or at Devils Lake, he felt most at peace boating, water skiing, scuba diving, or sailing. Even when not on the water, he embraced an active outdoor life, enjoying both downhill and cross-country skiing.

Passionate about preserving local landmarks and natural resources, Brad was instrumental in helping to start the Flat Rock Dam Coalition. He later became its President, dedicating countless hours advocating to save the dam-an effort that reflected his commitment to his community and the environment he loved.

In further reflection of his lifelong commitment to helping others and his community, Bradley was a registered organ donor, providing the opportunity to help others and allowing his legacy to live on. In accordance with this spirit, the family has chosen to forgo traditional funeral services and will instead hold a memorial service to celebrate his life.

Details regarding the memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Brad will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his quiet determination, and his love of nature and adventure. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bradley's honor to the Flat Rock Dam Coalition, allowing his efforts and passion for preserving the dam to live on. Donations may be sent to 28933 W. Huron River Dr., Flat Rock, MI 48134.
