Bradley Alan Keily, a devoted musician, loving husband, and father, hard worker, and masterful craftsman, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family members on Thursday, September 21, 2023 after a long-fought battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). He leaves behind a legacy of passion, creativity, and unwavering love for his family.
Born on May 24, 1954, in El Paso, Texas, Brad's love for music was evident from a young age. He had an extraordinary talent for the guitar and spent countless hours perfecting his craft. His melodic tunes could ignite joy in any gathering.
Brad's greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a doting father and loving husband, always there to support and guide them through life's journey. He instilled in them the values of hard work, determination, and the importance of pursuing one's passions.
A true workhorse, Brad possessed a remarkable ability to build and fix anything he set his mind to. Whether it was building decks, helping the girls with their school projects, or helping neighbors with home improvements, his hands were never idle. He shared his knowledge generously, leaving an indelible mark on those lucky enough to learn from him. Professionally, Brad spent close to 40 years working for Travel Centers of America where he left his mark at locations nationwide.
Brad leaves behind countless cherished memories, a harmonious soundtrack of his life that will continue to play in the hearts of those he touched. Though Brad is no longer with us in person, his music will echo in our hearts, his craftsmanship in our homes, and his love in our souls. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Brad is survived by his loving wife, Kim Keily; Daughters Candace, Stephanie, Katie and Courtney; Son-in-laws Michael Statham and Dustin Walker, Grandchildren Nash, Nixon, Kali and Elin; siblings Linda Cooper, Susan Hord and Brian Schroeder and step-mother Barbara Keily.
Brad is preceded in death by his father Ernest Keily and his mother Joanne Keily (Kavanaugh).
A memorial service to celebrate Brad's life will be held at Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Pike Chapel on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. with service to follow at 2:00 pm. The celebration of life will continue at Brad's home following the service.
