Bradley James "Brad" McElmurry, a lifelong resident of Ventura County passed away November 10, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of dedication, kindness, and quiet strength. Born in Oxnard, Brad spent his life deeply connected to the community he loved.

For 36 years, Brad worked as a stage manager at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center. Behind the scenes, he was the steady hand that helped bring countless productions to life. His calm presence, deep knowledge of the theater, and unwavering reliability made him a beloved colleague and an essential part of the arts community.

Outside of work, Brad had many hobbies and interests that filled his life with meaning. He loved spending time with his family.

Brad was the son of James Calvin McElmurry, who passed in 2007, and Arlene Schlosser, who passed in 1997. He was one of six siblings, loved dearly by his family. Brad leaves behind his daughter, Kirsten Warner, and her husband, Larry Warner, Brad was a proud grandfather to Chase LeBlanc and step grandfather to Hunter Warner, both of whom brought him immense joy, and his loyal dog, Sunny, was his constant companion and a source of comfort and happiness. He is also survived by his sisters: Pam Stoltz (McElmurry) of Minnesota, Jill Irish (McElmurry) of Temecula, and Karen Giroux (McElmurry) of Goldsboro, North Carolina, as well as his brother Mark McElmurry of Goldsboro, North Carolina.
