Bradley D. Smith, 54, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, suddenly at his home. Brad was born November 21, 1970, in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the Sandra Smith Reidel. A 1990 graduate of North Gallia High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center, Brad enjoyed the outdoors – especially fishing. He enjoyed coaching young people and loved telling stories of which he always had a good one. His favorite past time was spending time with his grandchildren.
Brad will be greatly missed by his children: Austin (Brittany Beaver) Smith, Missy Jarrell and Kaitlyn (Jake) Browning, all of Gallipolis and Casey (Jarrid) Marcum, Bidwell; loving grandchildren: Ciara, Morgan, Jordan, Landon, Lux, Jax and Karsyn; brother, Michael Smith, Bidwell and sisters, Ashley (Josh) Burns, Vinton, Ohio and Alicia (Robert) Rose, Columbus, Ohio. Also missing Brad are aunt, Deborah Smith and uncle, Ralph Smith, both of Bidwell as well as uncle, Jeff (Leann) Smith, Gallipolis; former companion, Julie Jarrell, Bidwell and a host of extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Gerald and Promolia Smith.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Bidwell, Ohio with Rev. Marlin Griffin, officiate. Family and friends may call at the church Wednesday, 12:00-2:00 PM.

Brad was a good friend of mine & i knew him for over 20 years, he was a good guy, he was liked & loved by his friends & family. I'm so sorry for the family's loss..Sending prayers to the family for strength to get thru this & healing. R.I.P BRAD.

My condolences to Bradley´s children & grandchildren for he was proud of each one of you and loved you dearly. I will miss his orneriness (all in good hearted fun) his smile and laughter. Brad was a good friend too many and brought cheerfulness to whomever he was around. Will definitely miss our quirky chats and your embarrassing comments for sure! Go watch over them grand-babies and I´ll make sure to snag a catch just for you Teddy Bear!!!
