To know Brandon was to love him. He was full of so much good and love, and always put others before himself. He was kind, thoughtful, and generous, and he had a wonderful sense of humor that we will all miss terribly. He lived for his family and leaves behind an incredible wife and two beautiful daughters who were the pride and joy of his life. Brandon graduated from Miami University of Ohio undergraduate and the Medical College of Ohio medical school, then Grant Medical Center where he did his residency for three years. Brandon worked as a family physician in private practice for 12 years before joining the VA Central Ohio Health Care System, where he devoted 13 years of his life. He was a brilliant and compassionate doctor and was adored by his patients, many of whom credited Brandon with saving their lives.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, April 24th at Temple Beth Shalom, 5089 Johnstown Rd. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Shiva will be observed on Monday at Temple Beth Shalom immediately following the burial and Tuesday and Wednesday at Brandon and Crystal's home from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brandon's memory may be made to Be The Match (www.bethematch.org) Online guest book at www.epsteinmemorial.com
Service will be livestreamed at www.tbsohio.org

It´s been several years since I had contact with Dr Berman and I am crushed to just now be seeing this. He was a wonderful practitioner - gentle, kind and so thoughtful. I credit him with, honestly, saving my life and finding out my issue that ultimately required surgery that every other doctor I saw blew off. He refused to do that and dug like an archeologist to find out exactly the problem. And he did! Two surgeries later I regained control of my life. I so wish I would have known to properly express my gratitude and my sincere condolences to the family. May God bless his surviving family and may he be celebrating each day in heaven as he is most deserved of that eternal life. -Paige and Tim Thomas

I met Dr. Berman at the Columbus VA. He was one of my Best doctors. His love for veterans was amazing. He really cared for veterans and always worked with you to your satisfaction. I like the fact that he just didn't treat veterans to put them on meds but always worked on the long-term cure. He will be missed.
Thank you for being the hope and making everything alright in the end. May God always bless you, Dr. Berman. I appreciate your dedication for work. I final SALUTE to your Amazing Life!

I know this is 8 days after DR. Brandon Berman's passing, but I just received the letter from the VA in today's mail. I am so sad as he was super. I do wish to express my heart felt condolences to the family and friends. I was a patient of his for as long as he was on the the Green Team at the VA, We shared many a long chat about everything including my health. We joked about all my combat scars. It was always fun and I enjoyed my visits with him immensely. He will be missed, there are not many doctor's. that you can sit and do the health thing and then also relate fun experiences with and laugh and even tease each other. As a patient I will miss Dr. Berman a lot. As a friend I will also carry him in my heart. God speed DR B.

I met Dr. Berman @the Columbus VA. He was my Doctor. He will be missed...truly a kind and caring man.The world needs more like him. May God watch over you and your family.

I only knew Dr Berman from the VA Hospital, he was my Doctor but he was also my friend, he will be missed very much, I wish I knew him outside of the VA because he was the type of friend you would want. I truly believe the world has lost a great man, my deepest sympathy to the family!!! I wish I could have attended the showing but I just learned about this tragic situation today 4/27/23. To be honest am both mad and sad he's gone!!
