Brandon "Bubba" Moats McMillen

Brandon “Bubba” Moats McMillen, age 37, of Harrisonburg and formerly of Moyers, WV passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 at his home.

He was born July 26, 1987, a son of Karen (Moats) Pitsenbarger of Moyers, WV and Kenton “Mac” McMillen of Michigan.

A Christian in faith, he was a member of St. Paul Independent Lutheran Church. Brandon graduated from Franklin High School in 2005 and would continue his education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he pursued a business degree.

Amongst his many interests, Brandon truly enjoyed traveling and loved dogs of all types. Above all, Brandon will be remembered as a free spirit and selfless in nature, who was always willing to help others and constantly saw the best in people.

Brandon is survived by his mother Karen Pitsenbarger and husband, Ron of Moyers, WV; father, Kenton “Mac” McMillen and wife, Robin of Michigan; brother, Logan McMillen of Moyers, WV; sisters, Devin Roberts and husband, Alex of Parkersburg, WV, as well as Shianne McMillen of Floral City, Fla.

His family will hold a memorial service to commemorate his life at a later date.
