Brandon Harrison Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 23, 2023.
Fort Worth, Texas -It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon Russell Harrison, born on November 2,1996 to Kim Kimberlin and Richard Harrison and who left this world on September 18,2023.
Funeral: 12 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Greenwood Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood. Inurnment: 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Brandon resided in the town of Argyle, Texas. Brandon was a cherished son, brother, grandson and friend. His absence will leave a void in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Despite his untimely departure, Brandon's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He had a charming personality that could light up a room when he walked in. He had an infectious laughter, warm smile and a kind hearted nature that touched the lives of many.
Brandon was a great athlete and although smaller compared to his other teammates, his will to win and succeed was unmatched. Brandon made varsity on both baseball and football as a freshman and lettered in both. He received the Warrior Heart award for football along with a fellow teammate which is the best award you can receive at Liberty. Brandon was not only a great athlete but also an equally great student. He graduated from Liberty Christian school in 2016 at the top part of his class and received a partial academic scholarship to the University of Arkansas.
God never tells Parents how long their children have on this earth. We raise them with love and teach them everything we can about life and how to serve the Lord. I know Brandon loved the Lord and is now safe and free from addiction in heaven. He fought a long hard battle for many years. We will always love and miss him terribly. Our hearts are truly broken, but we take refuge in knowing that our heavenly father is in control. Addiction affects so many families and brings so many hardships for all that are involved. Through this, I have learned to never give up, don't wait to forgive, and always give all the love you can for you never know when the end will come.
Brandon leaves behind a grieving family and countless friends whose lives have forever been changed by his presence. Brandon is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kim and Keith Kimberlin of Argyle, Texas; his father, Richard Harrison and life partner, Glenda Marsden of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Blake Harrison of Argyle, Texas; sisters, Bailey and Brooklyn Kimberlin of Argyle, Texas; step brothers, Kole Kimberlin of Colleyville, Texas and Keith Kimberlin of Prosper, Texas; and grandparents, Monnette and James Swafford of Justin, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wilbert Kizer of Mineral Wells, Texas; paternal grandmother, Sherry Harrison of Mineral Wells, Texas; and paternal grandfather, Richard Russell Harrison Sr of Richardson, Texas.

Brandon played baseball on the Pro Source Athletics with my son Jensen. He was a pure joy to be around and was always wearing a smile. "Peanut" was a great teammate and knew how to make the boys laugh without even trying; he had a God given gift.
Jensen and I just heard the horrific news about Brandon on the news tonight, the world lost an incredible young man way too early.
Our prayers are with his family and friends.
