Brandon Shane Johnson passed away in Edmond, Oklahoma on February 15, 2025, at the age of 31.

Brandon was born to Odice and Dorothea Johnson on February 1, 1994, in Lawton, OK. He attended elementary school in Lawton (Crosby Park and Eisenhower) and completed middle and high school in Edmond, OK, where he graduated from Edmond North. As a youth, he enjoyed playing sports including football and soccer, but his favorite was playing baseball as catcher behind the plate. Throughout his life he enjoyed watching sports, particularly the OKC Thunder and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed playing video games, especially World of Warcraft. He was very close with his late brother Chris, and they spent many hours playing games and watching TV shows like Swamp People, The Deadliest Catch, and Wicked Tuna. He will be forever remembered for all of the good times, especially his love of life. The pleasure of a good meal shared, laughter, his love for his mom and his dad, and his larger-than-life presence. Brandon loved the Lord and posted many positive messages and videos of encouragement, hope, and persistence. His family is comforted knowing that he is reunited with his loved ones who preceded him in death.

Surviving Brandon are his parents, Dorothea Johnson of Edmond, OK and Odice Johnson of Lawton, OK; his brother Max Boyd of Edmond, OK; and several cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Chris Johnson and his grandparents.
