Brandon Lawrence Knight

Brandon Lawrence Knight, 19, of Tavares, Florida, passed away tragically on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be profoundly missed. Brandon was born at Waterman Hospital in Tavares and grew up in the local area. He graduated in 2024 from Lake County Virtual School. During his younger years, he was a proud Boy Scout and later became a dedicated student-athlete, participating in basketball and track throughout middle and high school. Brandon had a love for the outdoors-hiking in nature, swimming and fishing with his dad and grandpa-and enjoyed spending time with friends playing video games. He leaves behind his mother, Stephanie A. Liebowitz of Groveland, FL; his father, Bradley L. Knight of Tavares, FL; his stepfather, Daniel; stepmother, Rosie; stepsiblings Alexander and Sophia; his paternal grandparents, Ada and Reggie Knight of The Villages, FL; and his maternal grandmother, Rebecca Goebel of Brandon, SD. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Brandon was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, David Goebel. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date for family and friends, followed by a private graveside burial. Brandon's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
