Steve was preceded in death by his father, George Knight; mother, Mattie Knight; sisters, Georgetta Warwick, Pat Maynard, and Florence Vance; and brothers, Jerry Knight and Ralph Knight.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Sunley; son, Christopher "Chris" Knight; granddaughters, Lyric Sunley and Macie Belle Jones; grandson, Christopher Knight Jr; brother, Larry Knight; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend gratitude to everyone who showed up and that walked them through this as well as Rick for officiating his service.
