Brandon Ray William Leiter

Brandon Ray William Leiter 43 years old passed away on 3/20/2026 in Murray, UT. He was born 2/1/1983 in Salt Lake City, UT to Ray Leiter and Donna Leiter. He married Kortney Leiter, they were married in Taylorsville, UT on 3/27/2021.

Brandon enjoyed working in the garage with his dad and building Chevy trucks. He inspired to be just like his Dad. His Mother Donna Leiter never missed a day of work which is where we believe Brandon got his strong work ethic from. His Mother and Father were very hard workers. He is an amazing husband and father who did everything he could to protect and provide a happy life for his family. He enjoyed being outdoors and four wheeling in the mountains and building memories with his friends and family. He lived his whole life in Utah, mainly in the Kearns area where he met his most dearest and life long friends. He was such a goof ball always messing around and definitely the life of the party. He had the biggest heart and would give his shirt off his back. Anytime he would see a homeless person, he would give them money no matter how much he had in his pocket.

Even in his last moments, he still generously saved 4 lives with donating his heart, both kidneys (going to separate recipients) and his liver.

He is survived by his wife Kortney Leiter, Children: Lyla Leiter, Syncere Leiter, Hunter Leiter, Easton Leiter, Father Ray Leiter, Mother Tammie Leiter, Sisters: Stephanie Montanez (Tony Montanez), Chylynn Ogborn, (Rich Watkins) Loren Greene (Kyler Greene), Tarsy Walker (JaCoby Walker), Brothers: Jamison Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, Julian Jepperson.

Preceded in death by: Donna Leiter (Mother), Carolyn Leiter (Grandmother), Robert Leiter (Grandfather), Alvin James Hoggan (Grandfather).

The celebration of life will be held at Wardle Fields Regional Park (14148 S 2700 W Bluffdale, UT 84065) at 1:00PM on April 1st. Anyone who wants to join us celebrate Brandon is welcome.

Thank you to IHC Hospital in Murray with the amazing nurses Alex and John that took such good care of Brandon, the donation team Ryan, Sonia and Aspen for handing the situation with such grace, patience and care. The LDS and Catholic Churches for all their love, support and prayers. And lastly Serenity Funeral Home for being there for our family in our time of need.
