Suzanne (Temple) Engelhardt, born June 10, 1952, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by family.

She began her career as a nurse before becoming one of the lead sales associates for Marquette Electronics. After the family moved to the Des Moines area, Suzanne returned to nursing, where she formed many lifelong friendships. In her later years she loved living in the mountains of Park City, enjoying biking, hiking, skiing, and golfing.

Suzanne was well know for her warm and welcoming personality. She was always willing to help a friend and never hesitated to open her house to friends and family making a significant difference in countless lives. Her humor, sarcasm and positive attitude were infectious and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Temple; her husband, James Engelhardt; and her sister, Dorothy Jean Temple. Suzanne is survived by her brother Tom Temple (Nancy), daughter Maggie (Engelhardt) Haddinger (Mark); her son Chris Engelhardt (Kelly); her daughter Annie Engelhardt (Tim Eyselbergs); and her grandchildren Julia and Katelyn Haddinger and Adelyn and Everett Engelhardt and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Lutheran Church of Hope, West Des Moines, IA, on April 10 at 11:00 a.m. CT, with a luncheon to follow. An additional celebration of life will take place in Park City, UT, this summer; date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Huntsman Cancer Institute in her memory.
