Our beloved Brandon Antonio Marshall, 38, of Lynchburg, Virginia, transitioned from labor to reward on March 8, 2025 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born October 21,1986 in Lynchburg, Virginia, he was the first son of Dorethea and David Marshall. He was a cherished son, brother, father, uncle, and friend to many.
Brandon, by many of his friends, referred to him as “B” was a 2005 graduate of Heritage High School in Lynchburg. He joined Hills Creek Baptist Church at an early age and was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a gentle, unassuming, easy-going man, with a sly sense of humor that he shared with family and friends, creating countless smiles and cherished memories. His genuine respect for others was unlike any other - one of the many things that will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
Brandon was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Frances & Leroy Murrell; paternal grandparents, Bertha and Nathaniel Marshall and uncle, Leroy Murrell.
Leaving behind a legacy of love and memories, Brandon is survived by his loving mother, Dorothea Marshall and his father, David Marshall; 2 sons, Brandon Antonio Marshall, Jr. and DeQuandre Monroe; 2 daughters, Breonna Marshall and Dymond Monroe; 1 godson, Ja’Koa Bradshaw; 4 sisters, LaShanda Marshall, Dominique Marshall, Veronica Nowlin & Jaquetta Nowlin; 4 brothers, Ryan Marshall, Kevin Nowlin, David Marshall, Jr., and Daniel Marshall; godmother, Lettrelle Wright and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Though Brandon is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We now find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.
