Brandon L. Myers, 51, of Evansville, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, in the same city where he was born and raised. From the very beginning, Brandon lived his life with strength, kindness, and an easy sense of humor that left an impression on everyone who knew him.

Brandon graduated from North High School in 1994, and not long after, he answered the call to serve his country. He proudly wore the uniform of the United States Army National Guard and was deployed to Iraq, where he carried himself with courage and loyalty, traits that stuck with him in every part of his life.

Family, though, was always the center of Brandon's world. He was the proud dad of Brenton Myers and Cierrah (Jacob) Beshears, and nothing made him happier than being "Papaw" to his grandkids, Matthew and Rowyn. To his brother, Brent (Kathy) Minton, Brandon was both a partner-in-mischief and a rock to lean on, and he loved cheering on his niece and nephew, Baylee and Bryce, in everything they did.

Brandon is reunited in heaven with his parents, David Myers and Sharon (Robbins) Mand, and his uncle Kevin Robbins.

If you knew Brandon, you probably knew him by his passions: fishing was his way of finding peace, cooking was how he showed love, and running kept him grounded. His Famous Doug's BBQ Sauce was legendary at family cookouts - if you tasted it, you didn't forget it. He also had a soft spot for his four-legged sidekicks, Stella, Birdman, and Blue, who rarely left his side and gave him endless love in return.

Brandon's presence lit up every room - his jokes, his generosity, and his ability to make everyone feel cared for will not be forgotten. He leaves behind not just his children, grandchildren, brother, niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, but a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, love, and loyalty.

Those who were blessed to know Brandon will carry his memory forever - as a soldier, a father, a Papaw, a brother, a friend, and simply as someone whose heart was bigger than life itself.

Family would like to welcome everyone to a graveside service on September 11, 2025, at 11am at Sunset Cemetery with military honors.
